Faustin Hamets short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Ewan Davin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 13 in the game by Faustin Hamet from a close distance when the talented Ewan Davin managed to make a qualified save. La Scaloneta's players were relieved. In the 14th minute, Tours Football Club's Arif Çelebi Ergener dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 18th minute, Tours Football Club's Faustin Hamet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ewan Davin. Ewan Davin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Ewan Davin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Arif Çelebi Ergener cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ewan Davin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arif Çelebi Ergener might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ewan Davin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arif Çelebi Ergener ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Çelebi Ergener got free with Ewan Davin in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Amaury Duteil. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Faustin Hamet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tours Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustin Hamet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ewan Davin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Arif Çelebi Ergener cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ewan Davin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tours Football Club's Lech Blochowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madjid Pauly in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Tours Football Club getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arif Çelebi Ergener hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Arif Çelebi Ergener who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Scaloneta's Ewan Davin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute Arif Çelebi Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewan Davin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, Tours Football Club's Arif Çelebi Ergener made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jim-André Van Landschoot replaced Charles-Emmanuel Camilleri. The supporters of Tours Football Club booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Costes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ewan Davin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Jenny in the 65th minute of play. Ewan Davin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyrille Jenny's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When Cyrille Jenny came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Tours Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyrille Jenny couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Faustin Hamet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tours Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After some careless play in the La Scaloneta defense, Faustin Hamet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ewan Davin. The La Scaloneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ewan Davin should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Cyrille Jenny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Cyrille Jenny put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ewan Davin. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tours Football Club fully deserved thier win.
