Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cyrille Melon got the match started through his kick off. Kevan Grange came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by R.C. Marseille's Joe Plantin. But to his dismay, Joe Plantin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Melon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevan Grange was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyrille Melon in the 11th minute of play forced Les diables noirs's goalkeeper Kevan Grange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevan Grange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyrille Melon's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Les diables noirs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Renan Bouzat was slow to take the kick. During this time R.C. Marseille's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Ghislain Ménétrier managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Kevan Grange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyrille Melon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The R.C. Marseille fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when R.C. Marseille's Cyrille Melon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyrille Melon in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevan Grange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 minutes Les diables noirs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Renan Bouzat who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Renan Bouzat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kevan Grange quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Melon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevan Grange was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Kevan Grange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrille Melon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Kevan Grange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Melon in the 40th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Mihail Toader ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevan Grange was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After the first half R.C. Marseille were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustave Pierrel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Cyrille Melon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les diables noirs's Kevan Grange was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cyrille Melon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Kevan Grange skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gustave Pierrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Didier Lafargue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Les diables noirs's goalkeeper Kevan Grange had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Toader. R.C. Marseille made a substitution. Djibril Mourot replaced Mihail Toader. R.C. Marseille's Cyrille Melon was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Wilfried Lépinay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Cyrille Melon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevan Grange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevan Grange made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyrille Melon in the 82nd minute. Djibril Mourot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyrille Melon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 86th playminute. After 88 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Cyrille Melon. Kevan Grange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Melon in the 95th minute of the match. Cyrille Melon had several of the Les diables noirs's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Kevan Grange as he didn't even see the shot coming. R.C. Marseille's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
