Renaud Carlo came out of the goal and Léon Cailleaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute of the match, Léon Cailleaux tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Renaud Carlo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mounir Perry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Roncourt's Léon Cailleaux ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Renaud Carlo. Renaud Carlo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Renaud Carlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léon Cailleaux in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léon Cailleaux in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renaud Carlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Léon Cailleaux stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Rosière FC defense, Jean-Marc Kazmierczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renaud Carlo. The Rosière FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renaud Carlo should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rosière FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play.
