Mathys Turban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stéphane Couasnon in the 4th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Georges Lemaistre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kader Gaume was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kader Gaume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Champenois, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Greux's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Champenois was slow to take the kick. During this time Santos's players had a chance to rest. Victor Mareau was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mathys Turban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eden Rosset in the 22nd minute. Kader Gaume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dove Bouillet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Dove Bouillet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greux's Kader Gaume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Champenois in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Greux getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kylian Bertaud hit a great ball. Victor Champenois took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kader Gaume. Greux's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ben Le Mestre scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kader Gaume, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victor Champenois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Champenois was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Ben Le Mestre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 45th minute Loïc Bonjour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Turban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Greux players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santos were winning 0-6.

After 50 minutes, Eden Rosset mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greux and the Santos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eden Rosset kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Greux defense, Dove Bouillet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kader Gaume. The Greux fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kader Gaume should have stopped the shot. Victor Champenois received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kader Gaume came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Champenois slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 57th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Greux's goalkeeper Kader Gaume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ben Le Mestre. Victor Champenois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Kader Gaume made a huge save. Loïc Bonjour kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Loïc Bonjour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Turban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Victor Champenois reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kader Gaume. The goal made the score 0-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toufik Deleage in the 92nd minute of play forced Santos's goalkeeper Mathys Turban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Greux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kylian Bertaud to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Santos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Greux throughout the match.
