Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Agnel in the 18th minute of play. Paul-Henri Gayraud hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Stéphane Gaudy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Karim Cosme made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Fabien Cantin put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Fernand Rouland replaced Karim Cosme. In the 64th minute, Fernand Rouland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 71st minute, Stéphane Gaudy made a precise shot to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Rathmore Lime Tree's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 75 minutes into the match, Christian Minaud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Minaud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. 78 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Minaud. Sofyane Valognes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabien Cantin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Minaud in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sofyane Valognes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes of play, Elegance Dijon's Fabien Cantin made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sofyane Valognes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elegance Dijon's Stéphane Gaudy managed to work through Rathmore Lime Tree's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Stéphane Gaudy dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 96th minute, Fabien Cantin made a precise shot to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Rathmore Lime Tree's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Elegance Dijon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
