Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martial Gobert in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Yves Sebille prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pin's Olivier Serot got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danny Arpin made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Axel Catel sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Axel Catel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danny Arpin. Axel Catel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Sabri Graff came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Olympique Rémois fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabri Graff couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Pin's Batiste Lavandier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Yves Sebille narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Danny Arpin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabri Graff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Freddy Rouquet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Yves Sebille showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martial Gobert in the 34th minute of the match. Batiste Lavandier kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Danny Arpin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabri Graff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Olympique Rémois's goal looked a bit too open when Batiste Lavandier came free, but Jean-Yves Sebille reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabri Graff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, Olympique Rémois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffroy Jourda to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Danny Arpin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabri Graff, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Olympique Rémois's Sabri Graff got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batiste Lavandier's late challenge caught a Olympique Rémois's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batiste Lavandier helped the player get up and apologised. Batiste Lavandier hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pin's zone, Mathieu Bisson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Arpin came out of the goal and Mathieu Bisson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 minutes, Yannick Bolé mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pin and the Olympique Rémois players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pin's Yannick Bolé got a free kick in the 70th minute. Axel Catel struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Danny Arpin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Rémois. Olympique Rémois's Rodrigue Fix was substituted for Sabri Graff. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Rémois's goalkeeper Jean-Yves Sebille, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armand Laveau hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Olivier Serot came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Pin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olivier Serot couldn't finish the play. Mathieu Bisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Arpin having to interfere. With a little luck, Olympique Rémois's Jean-Yves Sebille got control of the ball when Olivier Serot tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Olympique Rémois's Rodrigue Fix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danny Arpin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 94 minutes, Rodrigue Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Rémois's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigue Fix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
