Mathys Turban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maurice Autin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Breizh Olympik defense, Philippe Sévestre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lizbeth Pelegrina. The Breizh Olympik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lizbeth Pelegrina should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bacary Eychenne during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Santos booed when Breizh Olympik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bacary Eychenne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathys Turban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Abelsson in the 25th minute of play. Mathys Turban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Abelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Santos booed when Breizh Olympik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bacary Eychenne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lizbeth Pelegrina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Champenois went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Philippe Sévestre put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lizbeth Pelegrina. The supporters of Santos booed when Breizh Olympik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bacary Eychenne didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Victor Champenois cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Dove Bouillet hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torsten Abelsson made a kick off. The throw-in from Fred Lachambre in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Breizh Olympik's Tamás Bencsik. In the 53rd match minute, Breizh Olympik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bacary Eychenne to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Breizh Olympik's Mathys Turban threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Torsten Abelsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lizbeth Pelegrina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philippe Sévestre's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th match minute, Breizh Olympik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bacary Eychenne to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Santos's goalkeeper Mathys Turban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Abelsson. After 69 played minutes Breizh Olympik got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Lenberg. Georges Lemaistre missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 71 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Lizbeth Pelegrina right hand side. Lizbeth Pelegrina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philippe Sévestre went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe Sévestre in the 78th minute of play forced Breizh Olympik's goalkeeper Lizbeth Pelegrina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Breizh Olympik's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Le Mestre came free, but Lizbeth Pelegrina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathys Turban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Abelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe Sévestre in the 89th minute of play forced Breizh Olympik's goalkeeper Lizbeth Pelegrina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Breizh Olympik's Tamás Bencsik seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tamás Bencsik the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Breizh Olympik protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tamás Bencsik had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Santos. Georges Lemaistre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lizbeth Pelegrina. 6-2. Breizh Olympik's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
