Dave Rinaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Filippini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Bermund Arruda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dave Rinaldi. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. With 14 minutes on the clock, Thierry Agnel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Elegance Dijon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Royal PSG:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Filippini in the 18th minute of play forced Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Dave Rinaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Edoardo Filippini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dave Rinaldi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tristan Bétourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Cantin in the 21st minute of play. Elegance Dijon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal PSG the free kick. Samuel Izard's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dave Rinaldi firmly grabbed it by the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Izard to strike the kick off in the second half. Elegance Dijon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Izard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 70 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Izard came free, but Dave Rinaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Izard took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Rinaldi. Dave Rinaldi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Tristan Bétourne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stéphane Gaudy in the 76th minute. Bryan Krafft made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Royal PSG's Ferhat Özsan. Samuel Izard took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Rinaldi. Dave Rinaldi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 87 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's goal looked a bit too open when Stéphane Gaudy came free, but Tristan Bétourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabien Cantin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferhat Özsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Royal PSG's Samuel Izard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Rinaldi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. 98 minutes into the match, Samuel Izard notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi. Dave Rinaldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Royal PSG fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elegance Dijon had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
