Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Karim Cosme kicked off to start the match. Bilal Hédin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Georges Lemaistre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes did a great save. Sofyane Valognes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Champenois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Victor Mareau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rathmore Lime Tree the free kick. Victor Mareau kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match, Karim Cosme got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mathys Turban was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sofyane Valognes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Champenois, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Karim Cosme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mathys Turban came out and tried to block the shot, but Karim Cosme slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. In the 36th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Belloir to maneuver through the defense. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Santos's Philippe Sévestre. But to his dismay, Philippe Sévestre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Rathmore Lime Tree players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santos were winning 1-2.

In the 55th minute, Philippe Sévestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofyane Valognes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 57th minute, Bilal Hédin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georges Lemaistre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sofyane Valognes. Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Santos booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Belloir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Champenois in the 61st minute of play. If Melvin Viallard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Santos got a freekick which was hit by Teófilo Leitão. Christophe Reibel kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hervé Annette to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes, Brian Boullet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rathmore Lime Tree and the Santos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Brian Boullet hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Le Mestre came free, but Sofyane Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Philippe Sévestre notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Santos's zone, Karim Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathys Turban came out of the goal and Karim Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Santos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rathmore Lime Tree throughout the match.
