An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Serot in the 9th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Reibel kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Martial Gobert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adil Magaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Arpin having to interfere. When Montagnole FC's Batiste Lavandier in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A wasted opportunity for Rathmore Lime Tree. 27 minutes into the match, Martial Gobert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martial Gobert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Adil Magaud got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Anatole Fichot fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montagnole FC's protests and gave Anatole Fichot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Anatole Fichot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavian Garcon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Danny Arpin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 41 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Bilal Hédin. After a defensive mix-up in Rathmore Lime Tree's zone, Gabin Génot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal and Gabin Génot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rathmore Lime Tree's Adil Magaud got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Flavian Garcon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Danny Arpin, passed just outside the right post. After the first half Montagnole FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavian Garcon to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adil Magaud in the 53rd minute of play forced Montagnole FC's goalkeeper Danny Arpin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Brandon Pardon got a free kick in the 54th minute. Martial Gobert kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Bilal Hédin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Batiste Lavandier took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sofyane Valognes to make any attempt to save it. Olivier Serot kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Martial Gobert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Paul-Émile Brien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Olivier Serot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofyane Valognes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Serot in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Flavian Garcon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Christophe Reibel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batiste Lavandier in the 86th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivier Serot's late challenge caught a Rathmore Lime Tree's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olivier Serot helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Montagnole FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ramzi Boute hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Montagnole FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rathmore Lime Tree.
