After 4 played minutes Lunar Park got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Hernando. 5 minutes into the match, Noisiel's Harold Combettes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cedric Van Langhendoncx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Harold Combettes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cedric Van Langhendoncx, 1-0. Cedric Van Langhendoncx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harold Combettes's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Noisiel were awarded a corner. Diego Farges went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee gave Noisiel a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Harold Combettes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx. 2-0. After 19 minutes of play, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karlheinz Ludecke was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karlheinz Ludecke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Canu in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Canu in the 27th minute of play forced Noisiel's goalkeeper Karlheinz Ludecke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Szymanowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Harold Combettes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabien Canu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harold Combettes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harold Combettes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Noisiel's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Canu came free, but Karlheinz Ludecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Ibrahim Herrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noisiel and the Lunar Park players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lunar Park booed when Noisiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibrahim Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Lunar Park's Carlos Taillade to fire away a dangerous shot which Karlheinz Ludecke despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 82nd minute Christopher Loaëc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 92nd minute of the match Ibrahim Herrera completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ibrahim Herrera a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Noisiel's Karlheinz Ludecke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Noisiel from getting a goal against them.
