The audience was convinced that Firman Morientes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramzy Dor was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Silvestre Derwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Fjalland in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Firman Morientes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. En Avant Nikko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firman Morientes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Firman Morientes made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the En Avant Nikko defense, Jari Fjalland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Derwin. The En Avant Nikko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Derwin should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Derwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Fjalland in the 56th minute of the match. En Avant Nikko's Silvestre Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Fjalland in the 60th minute of play. Damaso Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes En Avant Nikko got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Braga. Silvestre Derwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jari Fjalland, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in En Avant Nikko's zone, Halit Orcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Derwin came out of the goal and Halit Orcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Genopole Entreprises's goal looked a bit too open when Firman Morientes came free, but Ramzy Dor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Jari Fjalland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Derwin. Firman Morientes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ramzy Dor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind En Avant Nikko's goalkeeper Silvestre Derwin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Genopole Entreprises's Jari Fjalland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Derwin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 96th match minute, Genopole Entreprises was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Chale to maneuver through the defense.
