Arthur Rannou scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugène Legris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michaël Delépine's late challenge caught a Chaponnay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michaël Delépine helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Charly Boisson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugène Legris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 18th minute Arthur Rannou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugène Legris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Rannou scored 0-5 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugène Legris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugène Legris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Eugène Legris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Rannou in the 27th minute of the match. Treigny's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Rannou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Eugène Legris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Rannou, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Eugène Legris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevan Brossier in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Kevan Brossier made a precise shot to the right of Eugène Legris. Treigny's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 46th minute Arthur Rannou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugène Legris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur Rannou was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Treigny defense, Arthur Rannou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugène Legris. The Treigny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugène Legris should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Chaponnay FC's Arthur Rannou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugène Legris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Charly Boisson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugène Legris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Chaponnay FC booed when Treigny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilles Gobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Arthur Rannou took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Eugène Legris to make any attempt to save it. After 64th play minutes Arthur Rannou shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Eugène Legris and just under the crossbar into goal. Eugène Legris made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Arthur Rannou sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Treigny's goal looked a bit too open when Kevan Brossier came free, but Eugène Legris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Treigny booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Lebraud didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Treigny's Michaël Delépine tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eugène Legris was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Evan Le Moullec capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evan Le Moullec really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. Charly Boisson struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Eugène Legris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaponnay FC. Chaponnay FC made a substitution. Renaud Houzet replaced Charly Boisson. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Arthur Rannou took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Eugène Legris to make any attempt to save it. Treigny's Eugène Legris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Treigny from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Treigny's Gauthier Biron got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Chaponnay FC made a substitution. Eduart Rrustemi replaced Maxime Lebraud. A collision led to Treigny getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gauthier Biron hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chaponnay FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
