Matthias Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Souris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of En Avant Nikko booed when Alexandrie CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xu Xing Ting didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Gösta Sellberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Alexandrie CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. En Avant Nikko were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Johnson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kiko Braga was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, En Avant Nikko's Kiko Braga got a free kick in the 53rd minute. En Avant Nikko made a substitution. Mourad Durieu replaced Gösta Sellberg. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. En Avant Nikko had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
