Ignacy Milan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthieu Macquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Éluard Coulomb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Briatte, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Matthieu Macquet got a free kick in the 19th minute. Robin Briatte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éluard Coulomb having to interfere. Éluard Coulomb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislas Mazy in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Union Sportive Modane's Stanislas Mazy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Éluard Coulomb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 33 minutes of play, Union Sportive Modane's Robin Briatte made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Éluard Coulomb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Éluard Coulomb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robin Briatte's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Briatte in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Byrde in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes, Marty Byrde made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Saubrigues players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Union Sportive Modane were winning 0-8.

Union Sportive Modane's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
