The Olympique de Batjax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maël Brulin should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute Brendan Tête shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Emílio Lendaa sped through Olympique de Batjax's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maël Brulin. Bethel Raba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 20 minutes of play, SILMONT's Adriano Guimarães made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maël Brulin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adriano Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maël Brulin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emílio Lendaa in the 24th minute. With 26 minutes on the clock, Augustin Guez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Olympique de Batjax's Augustin Guez got a free kick in the 26th minute. Emílio Lendaa had several of the Olympique de Batjax's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maël Brulin came out of the goal and Adriano Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Santi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Emílio Lendaa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maël Brulin. That made the score 7-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 45th minute Bethel Raba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maël Brulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emílio Lendaa was the one to do the kick off. SILMONT's Emílio Lendaa got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique de Batjax's goalkeeper Maël Brulin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Emílio Lendaa notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Olympique de Batjax's Maël Brulin. The SILMONT fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when SILMONT's Normando Fiúza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Olympique de Batjax's João Assunção got a free kick in the 75th minute. João Assunção hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Maël Brulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Fiúza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maël Brulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Albaret in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of SILMONT booed when Olympique de Batjax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olympique de Batjax's José Sergent was substituted for Brendan Tête. After 88 played minutes Olympique de Batjax got a freekick which was hit by João Assunção. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olympique de Batjax fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Olympique de Batjax:s Maël Brulin showed great skill when he stopped Thomas Albaret:s penalty. 90 minutes into the match, Thomas Albaret had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maël Brulin. Olympique de Batjax's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Albaret was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Maël Brulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Normando Fiúza, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After some careless play in the Olympique de Batjax defense, Normando Fiúza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maël Brulin. The Olympique de Batjax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maël Brulin should have stopped the shot. SILMONT's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
