Olympique de Batjax were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Olympique Salonais's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jimmy De Barros took the corner. Song Peng Xi might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maël Brulin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Song Peng Xi ran back to his position shaking his head. Maël Brulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Peng Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute, Song Peng Xi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Song Peng Xi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th minute, Tang Xi Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Salonais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 36th minute, Song Peng Xi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maël Brulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 40 minutes into the game, Olympique Salonais's Song Peng Xi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maël Brulin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Song Peng Xi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Olympique Salonais booed when Olympique de Batjax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy De Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Song Peng Xi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Olympique Salonais were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Song Peng Xi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Song Peng Xi made a precise shot to the right of Maël Brulin. Olympique de Batjax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Song Peng Xi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maël Brulin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Olympique Salonais getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Louis-Philippe De Assis Moreira hit a great ball. Olympique Salonais's Hilario Chale was substituted for Hector Etxepare. After recieving a nice pass, Olympique de Batjax's Jimmy De Barros tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Salonais's goalkeeper Raymond Foubert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute of the match, Song Peng Xi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maël Brulin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Romain Blet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tang Xi Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Maël Brulin made a huge save. 75 minutes into the game, Song Peng Xi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maël Brulin. Song Peng Xi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Song Peng Xi in the 80th minute of play forced Olympique de Batjax's goalkeeper Maël Brulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. King Elin took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maël Brulin. Maël Brulin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Maël Brulin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tang Xi Zhen in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Song Peng Xi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maël Brulin, 0-8. Tang Xi Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maël Brulin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tang Xi Zhen got free with Maël Brulin in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olympique Salonais's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
