After a defensive mix-up in SILMONT's zone, Stanislas Mazy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qiu Zhi came out of the goal and Stanislas Mazy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacy Milan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Normando Fiúza in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Union Sportive Modane's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Fiúza came free, but Ignacy Milan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Union Sportive Modane supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SILMONT's performance. The match ended with a win for SILMONT.
