Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marty Byrde took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Olympique de Batjax's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Byrde came free, but Maël Brulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislas Mazy in the 4th minute of play forced Olympique de Batjax's goalkeeper Maël Brulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Union Sportive Modane got a corner. Olympique de Batjax's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marty Byrde ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marty Byrde almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olympique de Batjax's Maël Brulin did a great save. 8 minutes into the match, Olympique de Batjax's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Byrde came free, but Maël Brulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maël Brulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Briatte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brendan Tête struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ignacy Milan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique de Batjax. Olympique de Batjax's Maël Brulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Briatte in the 16th minute of play. Maël Brulin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marty Byrde went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the game, Jimmy De Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique de Batjax's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union Sportive Modane the free kick. The supporters of Union Sportive Modane booed when Olympique de Batjax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy De Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maël Brulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Briatte in the 21st minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Olympique de Batjax got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Santi. Marty Byrde scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maël Brulin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Olympique de Batjax's João Assunção got a free kick in the 25th minute. Maël Brulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keimo Peuhkuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maël Brulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Briatte in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Olympique de Batjax's João Assunção got a free kick in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Robin Briatte notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Olympique de Batjax's Maël Brulin. Maël Brulin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olympique de Batjax's Maël Brulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislas Mazy in the 34th minute of play. Basile Roue kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Marty Byrde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maël Brulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brendan Tête stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Union Sportive Modane's Clément Ducastel got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Maël Brulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Briatte in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Stanislas Mazy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maël Brulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes, Basile Roue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympique de Batjax and the Union Sportive Modane players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Olympique de Batjax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basile Roue to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Robin Briatte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maël Brulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Olympique de Batjax's Maël Brulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislas Mazy in the 66th minute of play. Marty Byrde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Robin Briatte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maël Brulin. Robin Briatte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Marty Byrde took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maël Brulin. Maël Brulin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. A collision led to Olympique de Batjax getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Xavier Santi hit a great ball. Olympique de Batjax's José Sergent was substituted for Brendan Tête. Xavier Santi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Olympique de Batjax got a freekick which was hit by Basile Roue. Maël Brulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislas Mazy, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marty Byrde got free with Maël Brulin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maël Brulin was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Stanislas Mazy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stanislas Mazy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Maël Brulin was a little too slow when Stanislas Mazy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Briatte in the 97th minute of play forced Olympique de Batjax's goalkeeper Maël Brulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Olympique de Batjax fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Union Sportive Modane were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
