With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Bambas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrien Tanneau saved Valette Stars from getting behind. Bogdan Bambas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clem Fath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafail Rusev. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davy Patron during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Davy Patron. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafail Rusev in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clem Fath prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Thierry Platon fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosa nostra Lyon's protests and gave Thierry Platon a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 minutes of play, Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clem Fath was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clem Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 55th minute of play. Clem Fath came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine. But to his dismay, Guillaume Chaine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Bambas in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrien Tanneau saved Valette Stars from getting behind. Valette Stars made a substitution. Celso Vidigal replaced Rafail Rusev. Cosa nostra Lyon's Avgustin Raykov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mathys Chassot in the 66 minute of the game. Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwann Patrice in the 67th minute of play. Amadeu Martins made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cosa nostra Lyon's Florian Lardenois. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Adrien Tanneau made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Bogdan Bambas sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Cosa nostra Lyon's Bogdan Bambas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adrien Tanneau. Adrien Tanneau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 77th match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Martins to maneuver through the defense. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Valette Stars from getting a goal against them. Clem Fath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Vidigal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clem Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 86th minute of play. The Cosa nostra Lyon fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Cosa nostra Lyon's Bogdan Bambas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cosa nostra Lyon had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
