Thanks to some nice moves Salomon Buffet could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Clem Fath however easily saved by the left post. In the 8th minute, Bogdan Bambas made a precise shot to the right of Éluard Coulomb. FC Saubrigues's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 12th minute, Bogdan Bambas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosa nostra Lyon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Cosa nostra Lyon's Bogdan Bambas in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Saubrigues's goalie prevented a goal. Erwann Patrice scored 0-5 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Éluard Coulomb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Cosa nostra Lyon's Erwann Patrice nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Éluard Coulomb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Adrien Cariou got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bambas in the 46th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Bogdan Bambas suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Cosa nostra Lyon's José Rivera was substituted for Bogdan Bambas. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Saubrigues fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! Éluard Coulomb had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Erwann Patrice's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cosa nostra Lyon's Erwann Patrice managed to work through FC Saubrigues's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Erwann Patrice dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Salomon Buffet made the kick off in the second half. Tim Ménet struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Éluard Coulomb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosa nostra Lyon. After 56th play minutes José Rivera shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Éluard Coulomb and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Cosa nostra Lyon booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamza Loaëc didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, José Rivera took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Éluard Coulomb to make any attempt to save it. 64 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when José Rivera came free, but Éluard Coulomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Rivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hamza Loaëc's late challenge caught a Cosa nostra Lyon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamza Loaëc helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Loaëc. José Rivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Éluard Coulomb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwann Patrice, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Cosa nostra Lyon's Florian Lardenois quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jules Cointe, made in the 75th minute of the game. Éluard Coulomb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwann Patrice in the 77th minute of play. Éluard Coulomb came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosa nostra Lyon's José Rivera. But to his dismay, José Rivera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Cosa nostra Lyon's Davy Patron got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwann Patrice in the 85th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Florian Lardenois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Éluard Coulomb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Rivera in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Rivera got free with Éluard Coulomb in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmond Coiffier hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Éluard Coulomb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwann Patrice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cosa nostra Lyon getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Florian Lardenois hit a great ball. 99 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Rivera. Cosa nostra Lyon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
