Lyon Olympique 69's Manuel Espagnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 17th minute of play. Valette Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabian Walme in the 28th minute. Fabian Walme made a great header on Valette Stars's corner, it was just that Lyon Olympique 69's Manuel Espagnet managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 29th minute of play forced Lyon Olympique 69's goalkeeper Manuel Espagnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Lyon Olympique 69's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Manuel Espagnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrien Tanneau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezar Nișu's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cezar Nișu to make the kick off. A collision led to Valette Stars getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Amadeu Martins hit a great ball. Cezar Nișu might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrien Tanneau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cezar Nișu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute, Rafail Rusev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Espagnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 59th minute of play. Rafail Rusev came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manuel Espagnet could save by the left post. Lyon Olympique 69's Manuel Espagnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 66th minute of play. Guillaume Chaine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Espagnet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Lyon Olympique 69's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Manuel Espagnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafail Rusev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Espagnet. That made the score 1-1 in the 89 minute of play. The corner led Valette Stars's Fabian Walme to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Espagnet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
