After 33 played minutes Lambres got a freekick which was hit by Michel Hibon. Steven Grenard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Bogdan Bambas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosa nostra Lyon's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Bambas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Grenard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cosa nostra Lyon's zone, Brian Pontoizeau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clem Fath came out of the goal and Brian Pontoizeau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Julien Guy hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Cyril Toulalan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cosa nostra Lyon booed when Lambres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Hibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosa nostra Lyon made a substitution. Teofil Jarosiewicz replaced Willy Hautefeuille. A collision led to Lambres getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Michel Hibon hit a great ball. Steven Grenard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 71 minutes, Bogdan Bambas made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lambres's Steven Grenard tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute Bogdan Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Grenard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th play minute Bogdan Bambas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Steven Grenard. 0-3. Steven Grenard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lambres's goalkeeper Steven Grenard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 91 minutes Lambres's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Moreno who took care of the corner kick. Zé Moreno made a great header on Cosa nostra Lyon's corner, it was just that Lambres's Steven Grenard managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice moves Bogdan Bambas could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Steven Grenard however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Bogdan Bambas took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Steven Grenard to make any attempt to save it. The Lambres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cosa nostra Lyon's performance. The match ended with a win for Cosa nostra Lyon.
