The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Dino got free with Sébastien Deswarte in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th play minute Stanislas Bagot came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sébastien Deswarte. 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, jouy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marc-Aurèle Nortier came free, but Sébastien Deswarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pélicans FC's Marc-Aurèle Nortier got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Stanislas Bagot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pélicans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislas Bagot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sébastien Deswarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Stanislas Bagot came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Pélicans FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislas Bagot couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Marc-Aurèle Nortier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pélicans FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 64th minute Marc-Aurèle Nortier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sébastien Deswarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislas Bagot struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sébastien Deswarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pélicans FC. If Stanislas Bagot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Marc-Aurèle Nortier notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of jouy FC's Sébastien Deswarte. Sébastien Deswarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 74 minutes of play, Pélicans FC's Stanislas Bagot made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sébastien Deswarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th match minute, jouy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samy Destouches to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Pélicans FC's goalkeeper Jim Bannatyne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aymerick Champeaux. Sébastien Deswarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislas Bagot, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Marc-Aurèle Nortier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sébastien Deswarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marc-Aurèle Nortier went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in jouy FC's zone, Marc-Aurèle Nortier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sébastien Deswarte came out of the goal and Marc-Aurèle Nortier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislas Bagot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sébastien Deswarte having to interfere. There was no doubt that Pélicans FC were the better team. Pélicans FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
