It was beautiful to see Les Pionniers de Touraine's Gaël Thuilliez in action when he in the 11th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 15th minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes U.S.Normande got a freekick which was hit by Yoann Louvet. U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Beauval in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by U.S.Normande's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Léon Sureau was slow to take the kick. During this time Les Pionniers de Touraine's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Raphaël Lallemand got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mikael Damm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Les Pionniers de Touraine's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Léon Sureau in the 35th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Raphaël Lallemand heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After having played for 42 minutes, Abraham Beauval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Pionniers de Touraine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Beauval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikael Damm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Beauval's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

U.S.Normande's Deng Wei Feng was substituted for Rolf Custermans. U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Beauval in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Damm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led to Les Pionniers de Touraine's Patryk Kopacz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Les Pionniers de Touraine made a substitution. Désiré Alberto replaced Patryk Kopacz. Mikael Damm was a little too slow when Hervé Malaise got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-3. Tanek Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurélien Mussard, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute.
