Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Armand Mondon took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hercule Basque in the 3rd minute of play forced Pélicans FC's goalkeeper Jim Bannatyne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Bannatyne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hercule Basque in the 3rd minute of play. Jim Bannatyne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Mondon in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Rayanne Ros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perthes United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute Marc-Aurèle Nortier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Sanquer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armand Mondon took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Bannatyne. Jim Bannatyne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Pélicans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hercule Basque came free, but Jim Bannatyne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Marie Sanquer was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Anatole Le Lay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anatole Le Lay really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Jim Bannatyne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hercule Basque in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Rayanne Ros notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Pélicans FC's Jim Bannatyne. Jim Bannatyne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jim Bannatyne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rayanne Ros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Pélicans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hercule Basque came free, but Jim Bannatyne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Rayanne Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Bannatyne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Pélicans FC's Anatole Le Lay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Perthes United were furious when Sabri Bellenger was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 43rd minute, one of Perthes United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Perthes United. Jean-Marie Sanquer had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Marc-Aurèle Nortier's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Pélicans FC's Marc-Aurèle Nortier made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Marie Sanquer was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislas Bagot was the one to do the kick off. Jean-Marie Sanquer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislas Bagot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Marie Sanquer came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Pélicans FC's Stanislas Bagot. But to his dismay, Stanislas Bagot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. The throw-in from Hamid Schmitt in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Perthes United's Patrice Lambolez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatole Le Lay in the 67th minute of play forced Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hercule Basques short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Jim Bannatyne to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jean-Marie Sanquer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislas Bagot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Pélicans FC's Stanislas Bagot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc-Aurèle Nortier in the 82nd minute of play. Jean-Marie Sanquer came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pélicans FC's Marc-Aurèle Nortier. But to his dismay, Marc-Aurèle Nortier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislas Bagot in the 86th minute of play forced Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Boitel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Pélicans FC's Stanislas Bagot got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislas Bagot came free, but Jean-Marie Sanquer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Pélicans FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Seret.
