Pélicans FC's Jim Bannatyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louison Gaulier in the 3rd minute of play. Jim Bannatyne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Morisson in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Gilles Morisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Bannatyne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Bannatyne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louison Gaulier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Bannatyne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louison Gaulier, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Pélicans FC's Jim Bannatyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louison Gaulier in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louison Gaulier in the 13th minute of play forced Pélicans FC's goalkeeper Jim Bannatyne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes in the game, Louison Gaulier dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jim Bannatyne came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by LE TALADRO F.C's Louison Gaulier. But to his dismay, Louison Gaulier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Louison Gaulier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stanislas Bagot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Bannatyne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louison Gaulier in the 24th minute of play. Jim Bannatyne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilles Morisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pélicans FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Anatole Le Lay hit a great ball. Zula Bronder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Bannatyne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louison Gaulier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Bannatyne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Bronder, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Gilles Morisson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pélicans FC's Jim Bannatyne. Jim Bannatyne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmund Pieprz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jim Bannatyne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Lebœuf in the 41st minute of the match. Stanislas Bagot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lilian Montane having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Pélicans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilles Morisson came free, but Jim Bannatyne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half LE TALADRO F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislas Bagot was the one to do the kick off. Jim Bannatyne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Morisson in the 51st minute of the match. Lilian Montane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc-Aurèle Nortier, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. LE TALADRO F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexandre Grave in the 56th minute. When Gilles Morisson came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the LE TALADRO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilles Morisson couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Gilles Morisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Bannatyne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Zula Bronder put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jim Bannatyne. With a little luck, Pélicans FC's Jim Bannatyne got control of the ball when Gilles Morisson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Zula Bronder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jim Bannatyne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LE TALADRO F.C's Gregorio Hotz was substituted for Louison Gaulier. LE TALADRO F.C's Stanislas Ripoll was substituted for Alexandre Grave. Lilian Montane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc-Aurèle Nortier, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Marc-Aurèle Nortier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Lilian Montane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Jim Bannatyne successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 84 minutes into the game, Gregorio Hotz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Jim Bannatyne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Didi Di Bari kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Gilles Morisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute of the game Dylan Le Baron made a throw-in which Marc-Aurèle Nortier played forward. LE TALADRO F.C played a much better game than Pélicans FC and deserved their victory. The Pélicans FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
