Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oscar Carrière took the kick off in the first half of the match. massïlia's Pavel Chivu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Carrière in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Pierrevillers's Noureddine Boquet got control of the ball when Jochen Sommerhalder tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 minutes Pierrevillers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joseph Leperlier who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Carrière in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Chivu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Oscar Carrière shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Chivu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Oscar Carrière who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but massïlia's Pavel Chivu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pierrevillers were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after massïlia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jackson Amri took the corner. The corner led Pierrevillers's Jackson Amri to fire away a dangerous shot which Pavel Chivu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, massïlia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrice Lelarge to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, massïlia's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Carrière came free, but Pavel Chivu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Carrière hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When massïlia's Jochen Sommerhalder in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pierrevillers's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Oscar Carrière put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pavel Chivu. The audience cheered when Joseph Leperlier's long shot passed Noureddine Boquet's right side. It was 1-1, 38 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jochen Sommerhalder made a kick off. Pavel Chivu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Carrière in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match, Joffrey Cuvelier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pavel Chivu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Carrière in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Chivu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jochen Sommerhalder took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noureddine Boquet. Noureddine Boquet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Pavel Chivu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joffrey Cuvelier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pierrevillers booed when massïlia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jochen Sommerhalder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Chivu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eden Didier. The Pierrevillers fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Pierrevillers's Oscar Carrière looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pavel Chivu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Carrière in the 79th minute of the match. Louison Le Boucher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Boquet having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Jochen Sommerhalder notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Pierrevillers's Noureddine Boquet. Noureddine Boquet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Carrière in the 87th minute of play forced massïlia's goalkeeper Pavel Chivu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, massïlia's Louison Le Boucher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noureddine Boquet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. massïlia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
