Pavel Chivu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. massïlia's Louison Le Boucher got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Paris booed when massïlia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jochen Sommerhalder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Vincent Planchet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 22 in the game by Jochen Sommerhalder from a close distance when the talented Axel Hector managed to make a qualified save. Paris's players were relieved. 23 minutes into the game, Morgan Labro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pavel Chivu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of massïlia booed when Paris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aymerick Thomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrice Piotrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jochen Sommerhalder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paris's Axel Hector was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Paris's goalkeeper Axel Hector had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jochen Sommerhalder. Jochen Sommerhalder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louison Le Boucher kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jochen Sommerhalder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Jochen Sommerhalder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paris's Axel Hector was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matheo Claret's late challenge caught a Paris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matheo Claret helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, massïlia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheo Claret to maneuver through the defense. Pavel Chivu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Tristan Lebarbier sent off a good shot on target. If John Moutte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Paris defense, Jochen Sommerhalder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Hector. The Paris fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Hector should have stopped the shot. Jochen Sommerhalder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jochen Sommerhalder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jochen Sommerhalder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, massïlia's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Labro came free, but Pavel Chivu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Désiré Boussin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Aymerick Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrice Ozouf kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Murillo Kepa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Axel Hector having to make a save. Jochen Sommerhalder took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axel Hector. Axel Hector dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 93rd minute, Fabrice Piotrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
