Cats and dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Hamard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Becker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cats and dogs's Nicolas Hamard got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Hamard in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Gaétan Bouchard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John Becker. The Cats and dogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Hamard in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Becker saved Salome from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Salome's goalkeeper John Becker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaétan Bouchard. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Patard made a kick off. Joe Camp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germain Clisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaétan Bouchard during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gaétan Bouchard hit a great ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Salome's goal looked a bit too open when Terry Sauvestre came free, but John Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Terry Sauvestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Becker was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 75th minute, Terry Sauvestre made a precise shot to the right of John Becker. Salome's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. 79 minutes into the match, Terry Sauvestre notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Salome's John Becker. John Becker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Terry Sauvestre came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cats and dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Sauvestre couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Cats and dogs's Nicolas Hamard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Becker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. In the 92nd minute Terry Sauvestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
