In the 11th minute Ange Lochet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spyros Chatzakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Le Stade Briochin UC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dimitri Nedellec hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Ognyan Klyashev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lev Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ognyan Klyashev in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ange Lochet in the 23rd minute of play forced Football Wizards 59's goalkeeper Spyros Chatzakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacha Mignon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Football Wizards 59's Gilbert Paciuszko couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Le Stade Briochin UC. Lev Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ognyan Klyashev in the 26th minute. Spyros Chatzakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri Nedellec in the 28th minute of the match. Sacha Mignon charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sacha Mignon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Sacha Mignon. Franklin Sarron kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Le Stade Briochin UC's Nolan Roux in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th match minute, Football Wizards 59 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Terenzi to maneuver through the defense. Spyros Chatzakos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Farid Verrecchia kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Clemente Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 48 minutes, Nolan Roux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nolan Roux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Le Stade Briochin UC's Ange Lochet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nolan Roux to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Le Stade Briochin UC's Spyros Chatzakos threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nolan Roux, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Football Wizards 59's Spyros Chatzakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ange Lochet in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Football Wizards 59's goal looked a bit too open when Ange Lochet came free, but Spyros Chatzakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nolan Roux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Spyros Chatzakos came out and tried to block the shot, but Nolan Roux slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Ange Lochet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spyros Chatzakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Football Wizards 59's Spyros Chatzakos got control of the ball when Ange Lochet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francesco Andreola lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Le Stade Briochin UC's Clovis Janvier was substituted for Ange Lochet. Le Stade Briochin UC's Reinaud Arnoets was substituted for Jaime Tabor. In a very dangerous position, a player in Football Wizards 59 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute, Nolan Roux ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spyros Chatzakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Le Stade Briochin UC's Reinaud Arnoets got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelson Damien kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Clovis Janvier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 99th minute, Reinaud Arnoets left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Le Stade Briochin UC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
