After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Franklin Boch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cats and dogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyon 69ers the free kick. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Franklin Boch hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolphe Sol during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodolphe Sol hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Guy Durant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaétan Bouchard. Gaétan Bouchard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Guy Durant made a huge save. The Cats and dogs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lyon 69ers were winning 0-1.

Lyon 69ers's Guy Durant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaétan Bouchard in the 59th minute of play. Gerardo Abeitia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Joe Camp made a huge save. Cats and dogs made a substitution. Terry Sauvestre replaced Gaétan Bouchard. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Mathias Lecanu with Gerardo Abeitia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mathias Lecanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lyon 69ers's Jean-Marc Gesbert was substituted for Wendell Borges. When the final whistle sounded Lyon 69ers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cats and dogs.
