Vecdi Yurday came out of the goal and Oscar Chappell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ken Warner made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ryan Giggs sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the game, GÜMELİSPOR's Esteve Canor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ken Warner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Lofthouse in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christopher Lofthouse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Jordan got a corner. GÜMELİSPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christopher Lofthouse ran over to the corner to take the kick. Teddy Reading kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ken Warner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferid Yalap in the 58th minute of the match. Vecdi Yurday took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh Pope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Canor scored 4-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ken Warner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ken Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beyhan Alkım in the 70th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind GÜMELİSPOR's goalkeeper Vecdi Yurday, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, GÜMELİSPOR's Reuben Cefai got a free kick in the 79th minute.
