Szentlőrinc SE's Dénes Dibusz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Szentlőrinc SE from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, FC Olad's Aladár Takács sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dénes Dibusz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If József Kiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. József Kiss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Botond Détári read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute, József Kiss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Botond Détári was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, József Kiss put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Botond Détári. Botond Détári didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from József Kiss went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Elek Vörös fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dénes Dibusz having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Szentlőrinc SE's goalkeeper Dénes Dibusz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Szentlőrinc SE's zone, Elek Vörös stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dénes Dibusz came out of the goal and Elek Vörös tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when József Kiss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, FC Olad's Kornél Lőrinc made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dénes Dibusz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Botond Détári made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when József Kiss sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aladár Takács in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dénes Dibusz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, József Kiss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szentlőrinc SE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. Botond Détári made an important save on a dangerous shot by József Kiss in the 67th minute. Szentlőrinc SE's Dénes Dibusz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Árpád Kardos in the 70th minute of play. Dénes Dibusz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Árpád Kardos's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. If Árpád Kardos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Árpád Kardos scored 4-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dénes Dibusz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gyula Földvári sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
