Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Türkeş Akşit started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laçın Cumayev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Mattsson came free, but Zhu Ao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Türkeş Akşit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 11 minutes, Türkeş Akşit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andırın SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Türkeş Akşit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Mattsson. With a little luck, SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev got control of the ball when Türkeş Akşit tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 25th minute of the match. Zhu Ao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes Andırın SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Charl De Metser who took care of the corner kick. Laçın Cumayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 34th minute of play. Türkeş Akşit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Türkeş Akşit scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laçın Cumayev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save SC Braga from getting a goal against them. After 46 minutes SC Braga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Türkeş Uğuralp who took care of the corner kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 51st minute of play. Laçın Cumayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Türkeş Akşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Braga's Valdomiro Lira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rahim İskender, made in the 53rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Uğuralp in the 57th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 68th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was substituted for Benjamin de Lara. Andırın SK made a substitution. Ozan Sidal replaced Cyprian Trochowski. Andırın SK's Ahmet Arif Yönet was substituted for Türkeş Akşit. Andırın SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ozan Sidal in the 71st minute. A nice corner shot did that Ozan Sidal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Laçın Cumayev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıhan Saik, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ahmet Arif Yönet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Laçın Cumayev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Batıhan Saik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laçın Cumayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Arif Yönet in the 79th minute of play. Zigmantas Gimbutas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhu Ao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Ahmet Arif Yönet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laçın Cumayev having to make a save. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Arif Yönet, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charl De Metser got free with Zhu Ao in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Ahmet Arif Yönet in Andırın SK was the one to initiate the kick off. 101 minutes into the match, Ahmet Arif Yönet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laçın Cumayev, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Andırın SK had won after a very even match.
