The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Jonasson got free with Cristi Miheș in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Róbert Benkó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Benkó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armada's Cristian Anastasiu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Renzo Ingelborgs in the 34 minute of the game. Armada's attentive Cristian Anastasiu managed to snatch the ball when Renzo Ingelborgs made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Róbert Benkó's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brazilio Butt was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
