VB-Team's Shao Kun Yuan got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim de Barros. Joaquim de Barros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adrien Tanneau firmly grabbed it by the left post. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 42nd minute of play. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafail Rusev in the 44th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Joaquim de Barros made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Shao Kun Yuan made a precise shot to the right of Adrien Tanneau. Valette Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Armindo Salgado made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Rafail Rusev sent off a good shot on target.
