When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adrián Espadas sped through Herblay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz. Arnaud Konieczny received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dan Wennerqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaud Konieczny slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Herblay defense, Adrián Espadas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz. The Herblay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludomil Kajdasz should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitri Bougault got free with Dan Wennerqvist in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herblay's Arnaud Konieczny was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludomil Kajdasz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Kajdasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaud Konieczny was the one to do the kick off. Adrián Espadas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Kajdasz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 53rd minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludomil Kajdasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrián Espadas in the 55th minute. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Magnin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Romulo Thomas was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Billy Magnin hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ludomil Kajdasz was a little too slow when Romulo Thomas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitri Bougault in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Wennerqvist saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. After 73 minutes, Dimitri Bougault made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaud Konieczny in the 79th minute of play. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute Antonin Dagorne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitri Bougault in the 90th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Cadart in the 99th minute of play. Herblay were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
