Robustiano Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio in the 34th minute of play. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Skager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Paolo-César Maldini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo-César Maldini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Gelmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41stth minute of the game Benedicto Naelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Sotelo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Naelio came free, but Robustiano Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Lev Yashin made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Robustiano Gelmiro was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Benedicto Naelio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benedicto Naelio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After having played for 60 minutes, Benedicto Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benedicto Naelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Robustiano Gelmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Argentina made a substitution. Vicente Nevada replaced Benedicto Naelio. After a defensive mix-up in Argentina's zone, Cui Liang Yue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lev Yashin came out of the goal and Cui Liang Yue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robustiano Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Rolado in the 93rd minute of play. Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eufrasio in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match Argentina got a corner. Sotelo AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Eufrasio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlos Eufrasio made a great header on Argentina's corner, it was just that Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Argentina's Dani Carbajal got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Argentina players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
