Matai Nanclares's late challenge caught a CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matai Nanclares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Matai Nanclares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Virgílio Anjos in the 11th minute really tested Pio Falla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Teófilo Pádua received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pio Falla came out and tried to block the shot, but Teófilo Pádua slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Alexandre Veríssimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pio Falla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Teófilo Pádua put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pio Falla. If Lertxun Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Pio Falla managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Gaspar Vasconcelos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reinaldo Álvares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ortegano's Cesario Valensuela got a free kick in the 29th minute. Reinaldo Álvares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Pio Falla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Teófilo Pádua recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pio Falla. Teófilo Pádua showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Lertxun Oliver took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrício Marques. Fabrício Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Pio Falla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Veríssimo in the 54th minute of play. Pio Falla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Veríssimo in the 56th minute of the match. Deportivo Ortegano's Pio Falla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Veríssimo in the 67th minute of play. In the 85th minute Gaspar Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pio Falla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Alexandre Veríssimo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ortegano the free kick. In the 87th minute, Alexandre Veríssimo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the game, Alexandre Veríssimo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Pio Falla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

There was no doubt that CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land were the better team. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
