Johnny Ibarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romão Mourato, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ricardo Ceberiche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romão Mourato in the 18th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Johnny Ibarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cifuentes came free, but Ricardo Ceberiche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnny Ibarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romão Mourato in the 24th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romão Mourato to make the kick off. Flavio Cifuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ricardo Ceberiche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roneros F.C.'s Witomir Jestrimski was substituted for Pontus Picado. In the 69th minute Jiang Sha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Ibarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Ceberiche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Roneros F.C.'s Ricardo Ceberiche got control of the ball when Flavio Cifuentes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Sha came free, but Johnny Ibarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavier Palomarez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Cordero Aberasturi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Ibarra came out of the goal and Cordero Aberasturi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Ibarra came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Roneros F.C.'s Jiang Sha. But to his dismay, Jiang Sha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Roneros F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
