The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Chucho Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dale Nelson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chucho Benitez in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, ÇAN SPOR's Chucho Benitez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dale Nelson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Chucho Benitez in the 9th minute of play forced AFC Wimbledon Wombles's goalkeeper Dale Nelson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chucho Benitez in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Nelson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ÇAN SPOR's Serhan Ahsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jeremy Groves, made in the 13th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chucho Benitez in the 14th minute of play forced AFC Wimbledon Wombles's goalkeeper Dale Nelson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AFC Wimbledon Wombles getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tosh Roy hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Jon Newman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oğuzhan Er, passed just outside the right post. Chucho Benitez might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dale Nelson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chucho Benitez ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 23 minutes, Chucho Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÇAN SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chucho Benitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oğuzhan Er showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Wills, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, ÇAN SPOR's Chucho Benitez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dale Nelson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Chucho Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Nelson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Chucho Benitez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dale Nelson. AFC Wimbledon Wombles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chucho Benitez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sidney Dunn made the kick off in the second half. Oğuzhan Er showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Dunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Dale Nelson came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by ÇAN SPOR's Karol Teofila. But to his dismay, Karol Teofila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 61st minute Chucho Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Nelson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th play minute Karol Teofila came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dale Nelson. 0-5. In the 70th match minute, AFC Wimbledon Wombles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tosh Roy to maneuver through the defense. ÇAN SPOR's Ye Yang was substituted for Chucho Benitez. Tosh Roy hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ÇAN SPOR's Tolgahan Üçok got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sidney Dunn managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Wimbledon Wombles's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Dunn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oğuzhan Er breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Ye Yang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dale Nelson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Seth Moxon kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Rahim Akburç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÇAN SPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Wimbledon Wombles the free kick. The supporters of AFC Wimbledon Wombles booed when ÇAN SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahim Akburç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Although AFC Wimbledon Wombles had been in control for most of the match, ÇAN SPOR still came away with the win.
