He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burgh HC reached it. Edward Robbens short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Codrin Vrabie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arnold Koops could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Codrin Vrabie made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Rik Tellingen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Otten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Codrin Vrabie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codrin Vrabie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Robben in the 29th minute. Lucrețiu Blejan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Lucian Huțupan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burgh HC's Alex Toolenaar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Burgh HC's Alex Toolenaar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Burgh HC from getting a goal against them. Henk Paauwe's late challenge caught a Cere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henk Paauwe helped the player get up and apologised. Edward Robben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Vrabie having to interfere. If Edward Robben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
