Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nicholas Joynes made the kick off which started today's match. Nicholas Joynes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Topham having to interfere. A collision led to Fowey FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Danny Allott hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Trevor Kempson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mickey Bramble was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mickey Bramble came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by K.S.V Waregem's Adrian Claydon. But to his dismay, Adrian Claydon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 19th minute, Nat Connor fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Toby Topham, passed just outside the right post. Terry Slator kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If David Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toby Topham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Beckett in the 28th minute of play. When Nicholas Joynes fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fowey FC's protests and gave Nicholas Joynes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Fowey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Joynes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor Kempson in the 35th minute of play forced Fowey FC's goalkeeper Mickey Bramble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toby Topham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Joynes in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Fowey FC booed when K.S.V Waregem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Crispin Hepburn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Gower charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Gower the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute Huey Hughes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickey Bramble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mickey Bramble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huey Hughes, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
In the 50th match minute, K.S.V Waregem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huey Hughes to maneuver through the defense. David Beckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Topham having to interfere. Mickey Bramble made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Trevor Kempson sent off a good shot on target. David Beckett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toby Topham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Joynes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Barat kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, K.S.V Waregem's Trevor Kempson got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Nat Connor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Topham having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Danny Allott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fowey FC and the K.S.V Waregem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Danny Allott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toby Topham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Joynes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. K.S.V Waregem's Toby Topham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Joynes in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of K.S.V Waregem were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Fowey FC side.
