Santiago Bilintx came out of the goal and Miles McKinnell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miles McKinnell struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Santiago Bilintx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helensburgh FC. In the 45th match minute, Famaillá AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Elazar to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Bilintx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven McGrowther in the 46th minute of the match. Simon Bowmaker struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Santiago Bilintx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helensburgh FC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Chaime to make the kick off. Santiago Bilintx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miles McKinnell in the 52nd minute of play. If Bradley McKellaigh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Miles McKinnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Santiago Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Simon Bowmaker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helensburgh FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Bowmaker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Bilintx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes Helensburgh FC got a freekick which was hit by Miles McKinnell. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Famaillá AFC's goalkeeper Santiago Bilintx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simon Bowmaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Santiago Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Helensburgh FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Helensburgh FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Famaillá AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
