In the 6th minute, Cristian Bidari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Famaillá AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sidney Dunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Santiago Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Famaillá AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Lando to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Bilintx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Dunn's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Baldomiro Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Nelson having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Sidney Dunn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Wimbledon Wombles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Sidney Dunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Bilintx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santiago Bilintx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Crouch in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Famaillá AFC's zone, Sidney Dunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Bilintx came out of the goal and Sidney Dunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Sidney Dunn in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Famaillá AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Brendon Crouch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Bilintx having to make a save. In the 35th minute Cristian Bidari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Nelson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With splendid footwork Sidney Dunn arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 38th minute. A collision led to Famaillá AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Desiderio Matxin hit a great ball. Sidney Dunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomiro Chaime to strike the kick off in the second half. Garth Crichton's late challenge caught a Famaillá AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garth Crichton helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AFC Wimbledon Wombles getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Garth Crichton hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Famaillá AFC's Rene Lando tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Jon Newman came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the AFC Wimbledon Wombles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Newman couldn't finish the play. Sidney Dunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Santiago Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Chaime recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dale Nelson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Chaime in the 70th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Chaime cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Dale Nelson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Nelson having to interfere. Sidney Dunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Bidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Dale Nelson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Chaime in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Sidney Dunn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Bilintx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Famaillá AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brendon Crouch was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC Wimbledon Wombles's players had a chance to rest. In the 91stth minute of the game Sidney Dunn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Famaillá AFC's Santiago Bilintx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Ralph Page got a free kick in the 95th minute.
