The audience thought a goal was coming when 于升超 got free with Mickey Bramble in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Fowey FC's goalkeeper Mickey Bramble had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 于升超. 温志康 might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mickey Bramble. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 温志康 ran back to his position shaking his head. 风卷残云's 于升超 got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nicholas Joynes came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Fowey FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Joynes couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the game, 莫康宁 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 风卷残云's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fowey FC the free kick. A collision led to 风卷残云 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. 莫康宁 hit a great ball. Calvin Beckett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fowey FC's Mickey Bramble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 陶彬钢 in the 25th minute of play. Fowey FC's Nat Connor got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 范正扬 got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by 于升超. Mickey Bramble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 温志康 in the 34th minute of play. 郝政笑 made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by 范正扬. Danny Allott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 江岚霖 having to interfere. In the 48th minute 温志康 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickey Bramble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 温志康 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by 温志康 in the 52nd minute of play forced Fowey FC's goalkeeper Mickey Bramble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 风卷残云's 于升超 in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fowey FC's goalie prevented a goal. 江岚霖 was a little too slow when Nicholas Joynes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-1. 江岚霖 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nat Connor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 风卷残云's 于升超 got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 于升超 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mickey Bramble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes, 温志康 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 风卷残云 and the Fowey FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fowey FC booed when 风卷残云 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. 温志康 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 江岚霖 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Joynes in the 70th minute of the match. Danny Allott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 江岚霖 having to interfere. Nicholas Joynes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamie Berryman in the 79th minute of play forced 风卷残云's goalkeeper 江岚霖 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicholas Joynes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Nicholas Joynes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fowey FC's Roy Bourne got a free kick in the 94th minute. 温志康 got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Fowey FC booed when 风卷残云 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. 温志康 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fowey FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
