The referee ignored 风卷残云's protests and gave 梅思政 a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, 风卷残云's 梅思政 got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Maurice Bryant succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. Rio Abbotts shot a long shot in the 16th minute and a light blocked 江岚霖 hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0. After a rather tough play, 风卷残云's 温志康 got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 24 played minutes 风卷残云 got a freekick which was hit by 梅思政. In the 30th minute, Brian Rose ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 江岚霖 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Freddie Cousens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 温志康 in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Jamal Beattie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gainsborough FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 风卷残云 the free kick. A collision led to Gainsborough FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jamal Beattie hit a great ball. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gainsborough FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 温志康 was slow to take the kick. During this time 风卷残云's players had a chance to rest. 温志康 made a great header on 风卷残云's corner, it was just that Gainsborough FC's Freddie Cousens managed to reach the ball for a save. When 范正扬 came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the 风卷残云 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 范正扬 couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Rose was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by 范正扬 in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gainsborough FC's Jamal Beattie. In the 54th minute, one of 风卷残云:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 风卷残云. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Gainsborough FC. Phil Ploughman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving 江岚霖. 4-0. A collision led to 风卷残云 getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. 陶威翔 hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by 于升超 with 郝政笑 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 67th minute, Brian Rose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gainsborough FC's Brian Rose got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Alex Mortimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 江岚霖 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Brian Rose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 江岚霖 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Abbotts, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Gainsborough FC's goal looked a bit too open when 温志康 came free, but Freddie Cousens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamal Beattie hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Freddie Cousens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陶威翔, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind 风卷残云's goalkeeper 江岚霖, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brian Rose scored 5-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 江岚霖, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rio Abbotts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gainsborough FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
