Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sidney Dunn kicked off to start the match. Lê Minh hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. If Sidney Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seth Moxon took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trần Bay. Trần Bay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Đông Á Thanh Hóa FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nguyễn Huynh Duc hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Garth Crichton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Sidney Dunn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trần Bay. Sidney Dunn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Trần Bay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidney Dunn went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Trần Bay managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Sidney Dunn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st minute, Sidney Dunn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Wimbledon Wombles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Sidney Dunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sidney Dunns short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Trần Bay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trịnh Thanh Bình during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Trịnh Thanh Bình hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jon Newman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sidney Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Huy made the kick off in the second half. Brendon Crouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AFC Wimbledon Wombles were furious when Ralph Page was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After having played for 57 minutes, Jon Newman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Wimbledon Wombles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Newman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 minutes of play, AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Wes Wills made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trần Bay was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the game, Seth Moxon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Trần Bay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Wes Wills got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lê Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dale Nelson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Đông Á Thanh Hóa FC's Nguyễn Huy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dale Nelson. Dale Nelson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. Jon Newman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trần Bay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seth Moxon in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Wes Wills sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trần Bay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trịnh Thanh Bình hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Wes Wills recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jon Newman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Trần Bay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seth Moxon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Bay having to interfere. AFC Wimbledon Wombles's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
