Szymon Czciborek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Robben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eralp Sözen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes in the game, Fernando Souza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alex Toolenaar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Burgh HC's Arnold Koops got a free kick in the 16th minute. Szymon Czciborek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Otten in the 24th minute of play. Arnold Koops hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Eralp Sözen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Toolenaar. Burgh HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eralp Sözen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
